Almost every stalled deal I have ever looked at had the same root cause and it was almost never the pricing conversation. The champion left. Or got promoted into a job that no longer touches your product. Or lost the budget mandate in a reorg. Or just quietly stopped answering, which is its own kind of leaving.
One person cannot buy your product. They can champion it. They can want it. They cannot, alone, sign the paper, defend it in a room you are not in, and survive a reorg that happens six weeks before close. That is a coverage problem, and coverage is a skill.
This week: the four ways your champion disappears, the multi-threading motion that actually works across BDR, AE, and CS, the one language pattern that expands the room without threatening the person you already have, and a stat that will change how you look at your forecast on Friday.
